Think it's intended for Google VR. Perfect resolution with that in mind.

Not sure if I trust this new other condition of the phones. My guess these are factory refurbished units, with no warranty.

I own this phone. This is a common complaint about it by owners and I completely with them. The benefits of QHD on this device does not outweight the cons, such that the phone gets quite hot and burns through battery extremely quickly if you have bad screen habits like I do.

To even make this phone usable for anyone who likes to spend long periods of time on it (talking or playing on it), you have to modify a couple critical developer's options, which shouldn't be the case.

edit/ Just realized my original post said "a phone" rather than "this phone", corrected that and if that was your problem with my statement I sincerely apologise.

The same seller sells used ones, refurbished ones and these new-other conditions.

I've been using this D851 since September and the D850 with AT&T since January of last year. No major complaints with it. I'm using the Resurrection Remix ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/t...a-t2966911

Not quite, terrible analogy. If I buy a flagship phone, I also expect flagship battery life. I had this phone, and while it was a great phone (while it was on), the battery NEVER lasted throughout the day. And that's with moderate usage.

my wife just got the Samsung S7 Edge. sales guy said: "no decent phone will last the entire day". I used to root phones and turn down the CPU for battery life. what is the point of that? quick charging is what matters.
