Good deal on ammo - Current sale at Gander Mountain ends 7/1/2016 in the ad.

http://www.gandermountain.com/mod...J&i=412732

Link to rebate here - https://www.remington.com/sites/d...bates1.pdf

If you have something like ibotta, you can get another $5 off $50 or $10 off $100 @ Gander Mountain B&M.

Deal is $56.99 on sale - $12.50 MIR=$44.49 + tax 5.6% by me=$46.98/250 = roughly ~$.19/round. This is a pretty good deal.

Rebate limits for Pistol and Revolver ammo:

50 ROUND BOX
Buy (1) box get $2.50 back. Maximum of (20) boxes or $50 per person.

100 ROUND BOX
Buy (1) box get $5 back. Maximum of (12) boxes or $60 per person.

250 ROUND BOX
Buy (1) box get $12.50 back. Maximum of (8) boxes or $100 per person.

If you combine with Ibotta it is ~$.17/round for the $5 discount or ~$.15/round with the $10 Ibotta rebate.

Stock up while you can.

Not bad, but you can get Freedom Munitions new manufactured "American Steel" 9mm for about 0.17 per round. Wait till they have a free shipping deal and your golden.

Believe it or not I have had more trouble from UMC ammo than I have had from Freedom Munitions.

Same. This is a good deal here, but I 2nd the fact that freedom munitions is a great option when shipping is free.

100% agreed. I avoid UMC completely. The only ammo my Glock has ever choked on.

Still think it's funny something portrayed as being solid like a Glock chokes on cheap ammo while my cheapo sd9ve has yet to choke on anything including hundreds of rounds of this.

Really makes me glad I decided against buying a Glock a while back.

Good deal, I've checked out freedom munitions but haven't ever bought from them due to the shipping cost.

Funny thing about 9mm Luger rounds, they don't always work in a Luger!
This Remington 115 gr is the only round that my Luger will cycle through. Any other weight, the bullet is shaped different and will give it problems.

Are you trying to justify buying S&W's next generation Smegma abortion? My HK P30 doesn't like underpowered cheap ammo either, does it make it a bad gun? No, it was designed to handle hotter NATO spec and SAAMI +p ammo. Some guns just don't like certain ammo.

Surprised it took almost a day for someone to say something...I think you got a little overzealous with your price per round calculations. Three times bounce

What do you mean overzealous? Some people do not use other apps. I wanted to show the price per round using all 3 discounts. This is due to ibotta using 2 different discounts and some users will not use that.

I would rather have too much than too little info Big Grin

My first and last order with Freedom Munitions was over Memorial Day weekend. I took advantage of the free 2 lb Sureshot with a $500 order. I never got it. Several emails/phone calls to customer service was tedious and eventually someone told me they would ship it if they still had it in stock. They did and still do have it in stock and I have yet to receive the free item. Ammo is fine, but customer service is the worst! I am one of those people that value good service and will overlook a good deal based on how I am treated.

Why say this, no the S&W is only great for its price point as it's reliable, the trigger is complete garbage imo and there's no safety (not a huge issue).

Yes some guns are built for certain ammos, the glock is not made to shoot only p+, so my comment stands as it's made for regular 9mm ammo.
