Carnival is going to be your best bet price wise. We cruise A LOT, and the best deals seem to be from buying Carnival Early Saver, which comes with price protection. Then, go to cruisefish . com and for $1, they will alert you any time your cruise's rate drops. From there, you just have to submit an easy webform to request Carnival match their price. You get rate drops up until your final payment, after which you still get the price protection, but instead of lower fare, they give you the difference in on board credit.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Remember you get what you pay for
I know there are some Carnival fan boys/gals/kids / adults
some people prefer better food, newer ships, etc.
also depends on ports of call.
Sometimes you see a too good to be true deal any of course there is often a but or asterisk ( such as the rate shown may often be for buffet dining ) vs. if you chose more sit down eateries that's an extra charge.
It all depends on your family, personal preferences and such.
Good luck
