I have the classic and love it. Make sure if you get it that you download and install the AndroidWear watch on your phone. It isn't an AndroidWear watch, but if you do this, it will unlock certain features for Gmail and Google hangouts on your watch!

Bought one for my wife. Hopefully it doesn't have the unlocking problem. That's my only concern with a refurb. Mr. Time Maker seems pretty straight forward for watch faces. She doesn't know much about these and I use android wear.

I got the leather version last time BBY had a refurb offering and LOVE it. Looks like a real watch and has the functionality that I need. I do with that I could take calls on it though.

I bought this last time and sold it today on CL for a little bit of profit. While it is a good watch it is crippled by not having google voice. Also most of the tizen apps are kind of useless. Also you cant really talk through the watch. also dont pair with ios devices. I dont really see why this watch is so expensive. I bought a moto 360 gen 1 for 80 from woot and I feel thats a much better watch than this S2.

I dont disagree on your points about it having less features and value than android wear at this point but my wife has a samsung phone, she likes the white and i can easily put mr time maker on it and she can pick watch faces and put them on without any hassle so she will be super happy with it. im hearing the battery is better too. i plan i setting it up with the tilt to wake as she wont need always on mode. i have an urbane 2 and use watchmaker and such but it can get technical quick doing all that stuff.

Geek Squad refurbished... I would stay as far away as possible from anything touched by Geek Squad and especially "refurbished" by them

And please clarify what is the extent of it working? There is no official gear manager app. Only thing is pairing with Bluetooth with notifications.

Does it track your heart rate and sync with iphone?
Does it track your steps or exercise and sync with iphone?
Can you request uber cab like you can do when it is paired with android?
Does it give you weather/traffic alerts on iphone?
Can it send messages or call with the voice commands?
Can it control music on your iphone?

Unless someone is dump enough to spend $150 just for notifications? Only an iphone user can be that dumb Smilie
