Not the lowest price, but lower than it has been recently.

Works great with a Harmony Remote. It will require some button customization to get the most out of it. I have two and they work great.

So this is just a IR receiver? I bought a used HP media center sender/receiver off eBay which works great for my media center.

It's programmable, so you can use any spare remote, and have flirc send the programmed keystrokes to the active application. So it's great with applications with lots of keyboard shortcuts (Kodi)

Yes. I got one before because the FireTV with kodi didn't support the MCE receiver, but does support FLIRC

Didn't know this existed. Grabbed a couple for my HTPCs running WMC. Buying an WMC compatible IR receiver is about the same price and this can handle additional commands.

I have one of these and it works fine with my first gen Harmony One remote, but I use my (much cheaper) wireless (RF) keyboard/trackball combo 99% of the time instead.

That said: I really like how the Flirc just emulates a keyboard rather than being some kind of proprietary device. Makes it worth getting even if you don't have an immediate use for it.

This was a great addition to my Nexus Player. I love my Harmony and ordered this soon after getting the NP because there was no way I was going back to a setup with more than one control device.
