Thread Details

Purchased the T-Fal Multi-Cooker past Saturday with 20% off coupon from mail to bring the total down to $40 before tax. Not sure if it is good, I was planning to use it for rice only.

It's 10 cups uncooked which should yield over 20 cups of rice

10 cup capacity vs the average rice cooker size of 6 qt. Definitely too small to use as a slow cooker unless one prefers Cornish hens over chicken.

For a rice cooker 5 cups uncooked is normal and 10 cups uncooked is large. If you are talking about slow cookers they are usually larger and are measured in quarts.

Many thanks for posting this deal, OP. My parent's rice cooker just died, and they'll love this one.

Also too small to use as a pizza oven, unfortunately.
