I'm not familiar with the phonoverse, and am looking for some knowledge bombs to be dropped.
I am in the market for an android phone, preferably with the following features:
- 5.5'' OLED Display
- Fingerprint Scanner ( Back Facing )
I probably won't use the phone for gaming, or heavy multi-tasking, so power/ram is not so much of a priority. Memory card slot, Battery life, Camera quantity, software optimization are all useful to me though.
Ideally my budget is somewhere around $200~ max. Unfortunately this does not seem too realistic at the moment - baring the Honor 5x, which seems to have gotten a lot of negative publicity. I'm wondering if after some next-gen phones start to be released my criteria might be more easily met, although I have no idea when this might be.
I would also be open to a solid lower budget $100~ phone to tide me over. If BLU phones drop to $100 again I will probably pick one up, even though they lack the OLED screen and Fingerprint scanner that I'm looking for.
TL: DR -
- When are the next batch of phones expected to be released?
- $200~ 5.5 AMOLED, Fingerprint
- $100~ Compromise
The Moto X Pure and Nexus 5x for $250 were tempting, but the Moto lacked a fingerprint scanner and the 5x is a bit small, and both were a bit more than I would want to pay.
