Of course.
Even the title says "Portable".

BTW, I have some Toshiba Canvio portable hard disks: they work fine.

toshiba and seagate, if you want to save your backups or data please refrain from using these, rather go with WD any day. personal experience with toshiba and seagate are horrible

Can you please elaborate? Seagates are not reliable, but never used a Toshiba. They died?

Everyone always dissing Seagate. I have had more WD fails than others. Hardware is very YMMV. I used to be a dell repair tech. All I ever saw were broken dells. Does that mean they break more than others?

I've always avoided WD because of my bad experience with them. I'd get this one any day of the week over the WDs.

WD drives are this price every other week, this looks like a paid advertisement.

Case in point

Well this just be my luck or w.e but I have had a 3tb seagate fail on me before TWICE. so i opted to go with toshiba. and seagate i was able to recover the data but toshiba wouldn't even respond, toshiba are highly unreliable, i owned 3 drives in the past of toshiba and they all failed on me. I do alot of video recording for youtube so its personal experinece. i would reather spend more money and get western digital who are well known in the market for hard drives.

trust me this is not paid advertisement, i own a video recording business on youtube and i back up the drives on WD than seagate cuz seagate crashed on me twice before and its really frustrating when you work hours on end editing a video and suddenly fails. so no not a paid advertisement.

Seagate makes more drives than anyone else on the planet so bound to get more complaints.
