Looks like a decent price. CCC is indicating the lowest it's ever been on Amazon is $109 via third party. I'm debating grabbing this now or holding out for one of the smaller single-serve models since I have a full size Ninja blender that's a few years old already.

I know the ninja is not on the same tier as a blendtec/vitamix, but can anyone comment on how close or effective the ninja is? Mostly for breaking down ice /frozen foods for smoothies and purees.

I don't think I'm ready to shell out $250+ on a blender but this one may suffice.

I don't think the Best Buy and Costco one is the same. Other than the power, the Costco one comes with three 24oz cups, where as Best Buy only has two. But looks like the Best Buy one has an additional 40-oz. blend and prep bowl.

For this price, you are within $100 of getting a Blendtec, which will last way longer and is almost triple the power. I used to buy cheap blenders and toss once they broke after a few years, but we are going on 5 years with the Blendtec, and it is still working great.
