Thanks! TU

I found a 15 off 50 code online that worked for my order. Posting here in hopes that it works for others.

Code 470003852542464
just google 15 off 50 lowes.. and you will find a link for r e n o v p o w e r and the code they gave worked flawlessly... saved another 15$...
Inevitably, someone will post a link or a video from 4-5 years ago that shows how easy the Kwikset smartkey locks are to "pop" and get into your home. it always happens when a Kwikset lock gets posted here.

You can ignore those clowns. They are working with dated information. Again that stuff surfaced many years ago. There was an issue with those locks but they since have been resolved. I have 2 of these and have tried to "pop" them with a screw driver just like the said videos said its so easy to do. You're not getting in.

Not to mention that you can beat any deadbolt with a pry bar and hammer. Or with a $10 mini drill and pick set from harbor freight.

That being said, I love these and they are extremely reliable and easy and convenient. I highly recommend.

This code worked for me 470003872042463

As far as how hard to install - if you have a matching size deadbolt already there and have had one apart before, it's simple. If you have to drill holes & figure out how these things go together it could take a while.

If you're replacing an existing deadbolt, it's an easy install. I have one and while it's super convenient, if your door or bolt binds in any way the motorized option may not be best, since the bolt needs to move freely.
