Does 4K 12.5in screen look better than 1080P or 2K? I thought it was the same scenario as 1080P and 2K screen for a 5in smartphones.

Anyone have any experience with this CPU? Seems the weakest part and maybe contributes to the low price?
Also wouldn't be surprised if this thing isn't pushing 4K unless specific video requests it, for battery reasons.

Adorama sent first and then a second open box as new; manufacturer seal removed. Both returned for full refund.

who have a need for 4k screen on a 12.5 display?

granted 786p might be too small. 1080p is ideal anything larger than that is just e-penis.

it will be the same people that buys a camera with a sheet small sensor but 24MP...

From what I can find, this processor is on par with a 2nd generation dual core laptop i5.

This is similar or same CPU in the lowest end Surfaces. I have the 1080p version and it handles numerous browser tabs just fine and I have Win10 Pro on it so I've run VMs testing out Server 2016 Tech Previews and Containers, etc.

4k wise it has hardware accelerated H265/HEVC which is nice but looks like only HDMI 1.4a so 4k@24fps but it does 4k over DP1.2/eDP1.3 @ 60fps: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Inte...941.0.html

This is a great deal on the 256GB 4k version. My 1080/128 was $800 with Win10Pro on it due to a pricematch with Windows Store back in late April. I had lots of Dell giftcard cash to take the price down more.

XPS12 9250 is new. Very functional and well built. Mine has been great so far.

Also of note is dual Thunderbolt3 (40Gbps) using USB Type-C for data and the charger itself is type-C. The Dell Active Pen makes it an excellent clipboard type device for note taking and portable productivity and the keyboard base is one of the best you can find for typing (good travel, constuction, key pitch, etc)

The pixel density is not the only measurement that matters. The Sharp screens they are using have excellent color reproduction and are calibrated from OEM much better than anything you'd pick up for super cheap as a 2-in-1.
I have the 1080 version and the contrast and colors are gorgeous for watching videos, pictures, etc. Win10 Dark Theme really looks nice on this. This device is excellently constructed overall.

It is surprisingly capable for a low end CPU. It spends alot of time turboboosted above 2.0Ghz and claims it will go up to 2.8Ghz: http://ark.intel.com/products/881...o-2_80-GHz

The best part is it isn't hamstrung by 2GB or even 4GB of RAM like more 2-in-1s that are in the 12" space. I run Win Server VMs on this and the 8GB RAM is actually more than I had in my old XPS L502x.
