Still messing with firmware on the S11 controller may be a little while 1-2months and still not sure if we can hit 512gb in 42mm. But this product here in the promo is our high end stuff we just could not fit the S10 controller on one of these 42mm boards and leave room for the flash. The new S11 solution will be our budget model line. More info to come thanks for asking.

I am waiting for the Samsung 950 Pro to go down in price, If I am going to spend some money on an M.2 SSD I would like it to run at 2500mbs instead of 563mbs, yes it cost a lot more but there is no comparison and yes it cost 3x as much but 2500 vs 563?
Now if you see the 950 pro on sale hit me up here ASAP

Doesn't look like it. I think that would probably be something big enough to put in the title too. You may have to stick with OWC [macsales.com] for that...

This is a super slick deal, especially if you own a MacBook Pro Retina from a certain range of years. I bought this a month or two ago at $129.

For example, my Late-2012 was able to accept this drive after I used a special $10 adapter I found on eBay. Search A1425 to see what i mean. I went from 128GB SSD to 480. It's nice.

Bought this last slickdeal (480gb msata) for $115 to dual boot my work laptop which has a standard hdd and a free msata slot. Loving it and use it at least every few days. Doesn't blow me away but great value.

Not bad prices and thanks for posting. considering everyone is gouging on prices lately (10% + increases) it makes it nicer..

On another note, it's funny how all the new 3d & 48 layer nand was supposed to lower prices but coincidentally all the mfgs developed yield "problems" at the same time.

I mean what are the odds that all these "unrelated" (yes, I know who shares development processes) and purportedly "competitive" companies simultaneously are forced to raise prices? the answer is about 10000:1 against, or 0.00%, unless of course tacit collusion like we saw in the HD industry is considered.
