Wal-Mart is offering the Flambeau Outdoors Hip Roof Tackle Box, regularly $44.02, on sale for $19.84. Free Pick-up in stores.

The Flambeau tackle box is an outdoor hip roof fishing tackle box that is perfect for the fisherman who wants a container that will hold a little bit of everything. This fishing tackle box has a seven-tray storage capacity for multiple types of lures, and an interlocking tongue-and-groove closure with drawtite latches for optimum tackle box organization. This lure tackle box has a rugged, durable construction and a safe handle-locking system to help ensure that lures stay put. It also includes beverage holders. Larger than the average lure tackle box, the Flambeau Outdoors Hip Roof Fishing Tackle Boxes provides plenty of room to store all the accessories a fisherman needs for a successful day on the water. Fishing lures and other accessories are not included when purchasing this Flambeau tackle box.

'regularly $44.02"

$44.02 is the list price, not the regular walmart price.

Looks slightly cheaper than what other retailers are selling for on Amazon, Dicks. Same price as Cabela's.

Dicks $30 - http://www.dickssportinggoods.com...d=16944606

Amazon 3rd party $31 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-l...dition=new

Cabela's $20 - http://www.cabelas.com/product/Fl...lsrc=aw.ds

What's better... a box or bag?
Depends on what kind of fishing and personal preference. I used boxes forever but I've pretty much switched over to bags with removable trays now for all but a big saltwater box. Easier to swap whatever I plan to be fishing for and keep the rest of my general stuff together in one place along with rain gear, etc. Don't have to pull everything out to get to what you want. The backpacks/waistpacks are easier to carry even if it's just from the car to the boat. Biggest downside is that none of them really are waterproof and they usually end up being bigger so they take up more room.

I never really liked the hip-roof style boxes much myself. Too easy to tip over and dump all of your stuff and everything is open to spills, rain, etc., every time you open the box. Boxes with the removable trays work better for me for the same reasons above.

hip roof is an architectural term, no idea why its being used for tackle boxes. pretty sure this tackle box would be described as a gable roof anyways, if you pretended it was a house...

I like a nice box but my wife prefers a good bag.
