Thank you for sharing. I'll be dropping by a Costco store tonight or tomorrow anyway, so I'll check it out.

There is a local health store in San Francisco that sells this product. Their regular price is $15.45 for a 32-ounce container, and $9.45 for a 16-ounce container. The 32-ounce container comes out to be $0.48 per ounce, and the 16-ounce container comes out to be $0.59 per ounce.

For this deal of $9.89 for a 40-ounce container, it comes out to be $0.25 per ounce, which is nearly half the price of my local health store.

The OP also stated, "40 oz elsewhere will cost $40," which would mean it's $1 per ounce. That seems very steep, but not unimaginable, as another health store in SF sells a 16-ounce container for either $15 or $17 if my memory is correct.

Bottom line: At $9.89 for a 40-ounce container, that's a good price for a product that is usually expensive. However, I think that's very close to the regular price of this product at Costco.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

Isn't that the every day price? I picked some up a month ago and seem to remember the same deal.

I have seen this product in 4 Costco Wholesale stores in the SF Bay Area, and they were all located with other body soaps, and near hair care products (e.g., shampoo and conditioner).

I hope this helps,

The peppermint scent will put a special pep in your step when used as a body wash.

Really? $40 for 40 ounces? I paid $8.99 for my last 32-ounce bottle at a local department store. I can't fathom anybody charging (or paying) $1/ounce for this stuff.

The Costco price is a bit better per ounce than what I paid, but the trade-off is that my department store has all the scents. That's important to me, because I'm not a big peppermint fan.

This is not a deal, it's the normal everyday Costco price.
