I discovered that the television flickered badly when used with a computer. HDMI 2.0 cables did not help at all. It flickered no matter what cables I tried.

I also noticed the flicker when watching streaming video from any source other than my antenna or cable box, including streaming using Netflix.

The picture is great, but what appears to occur is the refresh rate is much too slow, and results in the flicker, which gets so annoying after a while, you just can't take it any more.

From the antenna, (HD ANTENNA ON ROOF) and direct from digital cable, movies and sports seemed to be fine. But introduce any smart device and the television could just not operate without the flicker. I put back my Sony 1080P, and the flicker disappeared. Ultimately, the LG picture was slightly brighter and better, but the flicker made it downright stressful to watch.

Note the LG flickered even at the 1080P resolution, but it was much worse at 4K. It is possible that the devices are partially to blame, but the fact the Sony works flawlessly tells me there is something else in the mix. My Sony TV does have a 240 Hz refresh rate, and I think anyone wanting to use a TV for streaming or computer use must have a genuine 120 Hz at minimum. I do not believe any lf these LG TVs have an actual 120 Hz refresh rate.

I've had mine since November when it was $899. Doesn't seem like that great of a deal since I only paid $50 more last year.

LG has software updates once every few months, so that support is good. They also included Plex with the most recent update.

Quick performance. The Amazon app isn't very user friendly, but the Netflix app rocks. Haven't had an issue yet. Reflects light a lot, but the windows of my place are right in front of it.

First post on any TV deal really should be an rtings link, in my humble opinion.

tl:dr
Pros: Great color accuracy at an angle. Great smart features.
Cons: Poor screen uniformity. High input lag. Poor blacks.

Edit: Thanks FrillArtist for the correction! rtings only has this to say about the UF7300:
Quote :
LG UF7300
The LG UF7300 is a 120 hz TV with an IPS screen. That means it retains its picture well when viewed from the side, but also that it has poor blacks and bad black uniformity. You do get WebOS, but given that we expect this TV will be around the same quality as the LG UF7700 (and likely a bit worse in some respects), we don't consider this a model worth purchasing.

This is a 7300.

That review is for a 7700.

What is input lag via hdmi? Gaming mode? These should be highly visible specifications in 2016.
