Someone do me a favor and explain why they make SSDs in 240/480/960 sizes. I could use 1 of these to clone a HDD but it has to be 500gb. grr.

Something to do with addressing data in powers of 2 then some space is allocated for overprovisioning.

Shrink the partition before you clone it.
