Bit better than average price, usually works for some minor aches/pains but wont' do much for anything more serious.

The warehouse clubs do way better than this. They're $25-30 for 120 with a similar formulation and Sam's has 250 for $15.

The trouble with turmeric is that it is very poorly absorbed and very quickly metabolized. Black pepper and an oil/fat help a lot percentage wise with the absorption but 400% of almost nothing is still almost nothing.

I tried it for joint and inflammation pain. It didn't do anything at all.

If you cooked with it plus black pepper and fat you might do better on the absorption, but entire cultures do that and don't report lower incidence of problems with inflammation and joint pain.

Buy it from an Indian grocery store and cook with it. Taking it as pills is just stupid.

Shan Turmeric (Haldee) or I recommend of one of the dozens of indian spice mixes which has turmeric as its base ingredient. Much more useful to take it with food and the many other Indian spices (red chili, cumin, cloves, cardamom, coriander, mustard seed, saffron)
