Not as good as the $90 deal before but with today's 6% ebay bucks offer for some people may make it quite similar.

Not bad when you account for the 6% in eBay bucks, especially since I picked up all my eBay GCs at 16-20% off.

How do you get 10-20% off on eBay GC's ?
Also, the 6% is YMMV, should add to title.

I got it the eBay bucks offer, but pass on this. I won't buy these gas cards at 5% off. 8% off is the threshold for me. They tried this 5% discount BS previously, and then dropped it back to 8%. Last week was 6%, now 5%. Stop being so friggin stingy. 10%-15% used to be common, and they only dropped it to 5% because people keep buying them.

Same here Smilie. Usually Riteaid offers with either eBay or gamestop and use the plenti points for Exxon Mobil gas

Agree with you completely but I am running out on the ones that I got last time with 10% off but no eBay bucks offer at that time. And fortunately for me my local Mobil is cheaper than Costco for premium gas so any additional discount is a bonus

Picked up some GS GCs from Staples with the AmEx offer and rolled them into eBay GCs. Then I snagged a few more at Jo-Ann Fabrics with the AmEx offer.

Gas GC's are 10% off on a regular basis. I'll wait.

Isn't it still worth it if you use your credit card? You get 3% for using an Amex (or whatever), plus a little in eBay bucks (even if it's not the promo amount), so aren't you basically saving like 8% on this no matter what anyway? I know it does not seem like much but if a bank account ever gave 8% on a savings account people would go nuts trying to open one. Maybe my thinking is wrong though.

I picked up two to tide me over for a better deal. This was still decent though. $190 - $11.40 eBay bucks = $178.60 / $200 = 10.7% off. After accounting for the discount on the eBay GCs I used to pay, it comes to 25%+ off on gas. I'm happy with that. Smilie

Well, you can get eBay GCs for at least 5% back, so the stacking looks like this:

Buy $95 eBay GC, spend $95 OoP
Earn $4.75 CB
Buy $100 Exxon/Mobil GC, use $95 eBay GC
Earn $5.70 eBay bucks + $1.04 portal CB

Net: $95 OoP for $100 in gas plus $11.49 in various CB of sorts

Yes, it's better than paying full price on gas. I bought $300 worth of Chevron and $300 worth of Mobile last time it was $100/$90 and with 10% eBay bucks, so I have the luxury of waiting for the next one and hoping the deal is better.
