Maybe he meant ratio. You could get two 16:9 27" monitors for this price and have even more screen real estate if you mainly care about productivity.

Have they ironed out the backlight bleed on these yet?

By the way, can anyone comment on Dual Linkup? Any issues with it always working successfully? Should be able to run a Mac Pro and Mac Mini, for example, and share the screen, correct?

This size monitor is meant to be for gamers, but 60hz + no-gsync, anyone knows how much it will affect the gameplay?

I wonder why all these major retailers are trying to go through Ebay? Their prices are lower than their respective websites. My guess is that they can alter the policies (price-matching, returns) of their main site.

Here's a review of the monitor on the well-respected Anandtech website.. (from 2014)

Curious about the curved screens which are +200 more. Do they distort your Excel spreadsheet or anything else that has straight horizontal lines?

Also, has any 34" 1440p monitor dropped below the $500 level yet on Slickdeals?

if you keep it at eye level i don't see why it would have noticeable distortion

Because only gamers have the need to for a large desktop space while on their computer and only gamers have powerful enough video cards to power this resolution?
People who work, edit, and use their monitors for productivity and color accuracy can just stick with small 19" monitors right?
