I've had mine for about 8 months now. Last week I bumped the edge of it while doing some chores. It cracked pretty easily, so I doubt it's water resistant anymore. I contacted Fitbit and they are sending me a free replacement. eBay sells shock covers for these for about $1. I think it might be worth it if it prevents a bump from cracking the side of it.

There is currently a class action suit against Fitbit for making false claims about the product due to high degree of inaccuracy.....just sayin

Yeah I did, it just says new in box. So then why even list it as new other

Doesnt surprise me. I had one of these for like a year then sold it because its just so inaccurate. Whats the point of tracking steps and heart rate if its always so inaccurate? heh. Interesting though. I would assume all step counters are equally inaccurate. It cant just be fitbit.

Last time i bought a "new other" from ebay it was one of those store models that were on display. Definitely new but with shown signs of wear and tear.
Not saying this item or seller is going to be like that, but its worth reaching out to the seller to confirm.
This looks like a fairly new seller without their own website so tread with caution.
Just my 2 cents

I bought one from Costco a few weeks ago for about $40 more, but based on their return policy, I will keep it as I have less risk for returns issue.
