You made a typo. It's 449 not 550.

Have this, love it. Got a 980ti too, can't play something like BO2 at 4k, but at 2k, np. I meant black ops 3.

What's the difference between an Ultrasharp Dell vs an Ultra HD Dell? just the resolution?

you dont need to.
I was planning on getting P2715Q for a year and ended up getting 27UD68 last week at best buy for $399.99 before tax.

The panel quality between 2 monitors are identical, and they are both LG's AH-IPS. The HDMI port on P2715Q is V1.4, which is not friendly for future 4k version Xbox and PS4 at 60HZ.
The package for 2715Q is alot bigger. Since 27UD68 is $50 cheaper, and better looking. I'd rather keep my 27UD68.

I will say that the lg looks very nice. Only thing that is a deal breaker for me compared to the p2715q is the lack of height adjustment, screen rotation, and also usb hub. If those things weren't important to me, I would rather have the lg for the price. I think it looks much better than dell.

I bought the LG from Adorama but returned it because it scaled horribly on my 2015 MacBook Pro 15". I expected it to look like the retina panel on the laptop but text just looked blocky. This was with a DisplayPort 1.2 cable from the Macs mini display port. I have friends with the Dell who say it looks great with a Mac and it's one of the monitors Apple lists on their site. I'm not sure if others had the same issue, but I also have the new 2717 ultrasharp at work and prefer the native 1440p.

I have this monitor revision A01 and sometimes it does not wake from sleep if you use the displayport. The mini displayport seems to be a lot more stable. Just some information for people who are interested.
