There are many different grades of LiIon batteries, the expensive chargers use high end Chinese, Korean and Japanese batteries like those from Sanyo, LG, Samsung, Toshiba. However the cheap chargers use lower grade Batteries from China, like the hoover boards use. These have difficulty holding charge and due to the thin separator between the Anode and cathode can catch fire. Be careful what you buy.

Bought this last time it was around this price, I can also attest that it doesn't hold a charge for very long.

Thanks, I keep buying portable power banks as gifts. I may keep this one for myself since it includes both cables (which is nifty).

Repped. How is this not getting any love? It includes the cables and has the ability to charge and be charged at the same time and at 6,000 mah could fully charge 2 devices.

Totally Agreed. My charger died within 6 months and had used rarely. But, they send me a new one no question asked. It seems that there customer service is very good.

I got the same one last time it was on sale, With the attached cables, it's very convenience. I can get at most 2 charge for my iphone 6. The battery isn't really a 6000mah. It also takes long to charge the battery itself. i used a 2A charger, needs over night to get full. But for $6, it's good buy.

I used to have one of these. Piece-o-junk. Doesn't hold a charge or transfer the charge. Worth less than $6

I bought this last time around and have had no problems with it at all. It holds a charge well and provides a good charge rate to my Galaxy S6 via the attached cable. I have yet to fully discharge, it has always provided enough power to fully charge a low battery on my phone and keep it charged throughout the day. I plug it in to charge it overnight, and toss it in my bag the next morning. I use it a couple times a week, if I'm out all day and using my phone a lot. I like the integrated cable and the size, because I can plug it into my phone, and hold it behind the phone without feeling like I'm holding too much. It is well designed and durable. The LEDs also work well to indicate the remaining power.
I'm surprised to see reports that it doesn't hold a charge. Maybe I just got lucky. I can't speak to the company's customer service, since I've had no problems, but for those of you that have had less stellar experiences, you may want to reach out and see if you can get a replacement. Regardless, I'm very happy with it. It has replaced both my Anker and my urlhasbeenblocked batteries as my daily carry-along battery, despite lower capacity, because the self-contained design is so convenient.
I suppose I should leave this in an Amazon review.
