I have been watching this for awhile but I think the Whynter is the model I really want. I am posting this for those that like Breville products which generally are very good products. This is the lowest price ever according to CCC but as of now there are only 8 in stock.

The shipping shows as free for me but I have prime. I assume it is free ship for others.

What makes the Breville better than the Whynter?

$300.99, 2.1 Quarts (or $294.69 on Newegg)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N63J...B009OZ62IG

The Breville is 1.1 quarts and costs a little bit more.

Edit: Or the 1.6 quart Whynter at Walmart for $247.32.

I have a Whynter. We love it. However, cream has been too expensive the last year to make it viable. Home made costs more than any premium on sale at the grocery store. And, it's not THAT much better than store bought. It is fun experimenting. But I don't have money to burn...uh I mean freeze...

I only wanted the Whynter because it is a slightly larger size. I just want a way to make my own frozen protein shakes that taste better and hope one of these would work. I throw my cup in the freezer now and shake it every 30 min but this seems like it would be faster and more consistent on a texture than my method.

After researching most had the Breville winning on taste and smaller ice crystals
Also think it is heavier if that matters maybe a bigger compressor
I bought the Breville even though it was more money
My wife loves the Bon a petite magazine and this was their # 1 choice
After 2 or 3 months it will be in the pantry like the rest of my SD impulse buys
One of these days I am going to unsubscribe ( NOT )
