I know this deal isn't for everyone, I don't work for Carnival, and I don't post often so please be kind Smilie

Found a pretty good deal thru Carnival which allowed me to book a balcony cabin but can be used in any category. Basically same as normal rates but they are SWEETENING the deal with adding an extra $100 e-gift card if paying with ANY mastercard. You only have to pay the deposit as well and not the entire balance. It also includes other things such as $50 OBC and price protection.

Here is the details per my carnival promo page:

Your Exclusive Offer: 20% Off With Early Saver Rates, $50 To Spend On Board And 50% Off Your Deposit

$100 Carnival e-Gift Card to use on board or towards your final payment
Get 20% off Fun Select Rates with Early Saver
$50 per room to spend on board
50% off your deposit
Price protection
Available on sailings between September 1, 2016 – April 30, 2018
You will need to provide your VIFP Club number
You must pay with your MasterCard
Request fare code OAP
Book by June 30, 2016
In order to receive your e-gift card, you will need to register your booking at www.cclpromos.com/mastercard by July 4, 2016

Wonder if it can be combined with a casino offer?

Yes I agree, not a crazy deal but definitely better than all the other so called deals they have offered in the past 6 months. I was waiting on something EXTRA to sweeten the deal for a family reunion cruise and put it off till today. There aren't all that many GREAT deals to be had lately compared to a few years ago. The $100 e-gift card promotion pushed me over and with the $50 on board credit on most sailings (Which is standard on most sailings), it makes it better than normal for sure

Be sure to check book by residence rate if there is an option. I found it drop $100!

When you booked, was there any mention that this could be combined with the Seuss at Sea Green Eggs and Ham breakfast for 4 promotion? I know this promotion is not for all but is valued at over $100.

The Seuss at sea $5 Per person as I did this with the family on the last cruise in 2016 (this year) It might be valued at a lot more but keep in mind this is an upcharge activity and food in the Main dining room is already included. Here is the link: https://help.carnival.com/app/ans...ea-program

To answer your question, I doubt it is combineable but unsure if that is really the case. Call your Carnival cruise planner and see if they will throw this in for you as it is my understanding they can bend the rules a bit. This is quite true if your taking an infant or a toddler aboard as can possibly waive most charges for babies. Never the less, with the $100 e-gift card, you can buy the Seuss at sea and still have some leftover money to do other things.

Unfortunately, it says applies to new bookings only so unless someone with carnival can back out the reservation and put it on a new mastercard, I am unsure if this would work. Can you maybe cancel without a fee maybe and make a new reservation?
