meh.com [meh.com] has Pioneer Dolby Atmos Add-on Speakers (SP-T22A-LR) Designed by Andrew Jones for $74. Shipping is flat-rate $5, or free with VMP membership.

The last deal for these went FP at $102 in April

This is probably the lowest legit price for a brand new pair of these that you'll ever find, given that the SD historic low ($70) was almost 5 months ago on the past m1stake by NFM. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Alright, since you're insisting I'll edit the contents of the OP to censor that out, but the SD community must be much more intolerant than I thought if receiving a 'price mistake' search alert for a deal priced on par with a price mistake was enough to piss anyone off.

Because people like that really help to encourage active participation and friendly discussion, especially for newcomers to the community, eh. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Sigh. Why put price mistake in the description if there's no price mistake. Do you WANT to piss people off?

The price mistake was 70 and this deal is 74. Very comparable. This is a great deal

At least I know my deal alerts are working for real price mistakes. I missed out on a lot that I never knew. Oh and meh deal. I gave up my VMP membership a while back and I don't think I'll be going back

No, they are just very specialized and Andrew no longer works for Pioneer so one must expect the series will be discontinued. If you need atmos speakers for your dolby atmos setup probably a great deal.

Picture of the single (2 way) driver that is in each of the speakers: [avsforum.com]

Atmos speakers add "presence" so they are not designed to have any real bass....so not too useful for other purposes.

Because I expect people to read. If people get pissed off because they don't read (the OP is plenty short already!), that's their problem and none of my business. I didn't even include the words "price mistake" or "YMMV" in the title, for goodness sake.

In addition, like someone else pointed out above, meh.com's $74 is priced so low that it's actually on par with the price mistake of $70, so I don't see what the problem is.

If you're curious though, the price mistake also included all of the other components of the 5.1.2 Andrew Jones home theater speaker set, i.e. center speaker, subwoofer, front tower speakers and surround speakers (bookshelves), and that was also a FP deal. Note that that page doesn't mention the bookshelves, but if my memory serves me, those were available too (perhaps they ran out of stock before the deal was posted).
I remember that deal quite well actually, since it was one of those rare price mistakes where almost all orders got fulfilled eventually.

All I intended to do with that reference was to highlight the slickness of meh.com's legitimate $74 price point.

PR1CE M1STAKE needs to be defined.

Let me help. Let's use an example of an actual, past, pr1ce m1stake.

Office Depot has some nicer shredders for the mysterious price of $6 and some change. Those of us who got in got several delivered - the actual retail price was like $49. Office Depot has since tightened up their verification process and things don't fly out to the mail without some kind of double checking.

The shredder deal was a pr1ce m1stake. This stupid crap we're being served ... needs to stop.

Would using a subwoofer for the 20HZ to 180HZ range work for music?
