I bought these last night.. I put them in next to a 60W Incandescent and they are literally identical as far as brightness and color..

I marked the date on them with a sharpie to see how long they last.. I will report back in 5 years!! Smilie
This is a very good price for LED lights. Anyone who is still using incandescent lights, should switch to LED. It will pay for itself in a very short period of time.

HOWEVER, these are low end lights. If it's the same kind I got from HD before, there is a noticeable, and possibly annoying, delay before they turn on. The life expectancy is half as long as most bulbs (10000 vs. 20000 hours), but this is still rather long, and the bulbs will pay for themselves many times over, before they wear out. Also, they are medium efficiency. there are bulbs that will produce the same amount of light, that use slightly less electricity (9w vs. 8w), but this is still way better than an equivalent 60w incandescent light.

So, if you can't afford anything better, this is a great deal, and will save you money on electricity. But, for twice the cost, there are better LEDs out there (no delay, dimmable, more efficient, longer lasting) , .

Don't buy these if you are going to use them with a dimmer switch. While they can be dimmed, they buzz extremely loud when not at full brightness.

Definitely a good deal, but these are not the 20 year bulbs. These will only last about 3-5 years tops with normal use. Just in case someone was curious.
