Bought this last month at $199. It works great! Plus Home Depot is going to match the $149 for me. Slick!

You will have "purists" who will quickly condemn this model because it is not a Weber or a BGE. However, as someone who grills a massive amount, I will tell you this: getting the grill as hot as possible is the top priority for meats like steaks. It's all about the sear! I think this grill will be plenty hot. And it will get there fast. The hotter it is the more control you have.

I am sure it does not have good insulation. That could be an issue in cold climates.
Its probably pretty flimsy construction.
Who knows how long it will actually last against rust? You may want to invest in a cheap extended warranty if concerned about rust.

I have an 8 year old 5 burner charbroil with the tru infrared grates and it gets as hot as molten lava. I have had it up to over 600 degrees. I love searing and cooking on it. It is also perfect for indirect heating too. I would recommend that grill to more value-oriented buyers. However, if this thing is as advertised, and it is truly 72k btu, then it is a heck of a deal.

Dyna-glo is garbage...you'll be replacing this with another $200 grill in 2 years and then again two years after that, wash-rinse-repeat. Just read the reviews at the retailers and also at various bbq websites.

Reviews on HD site are great- 4.5 out of 5 stars and a lot of positive comments. But maybe they haven't had the grill long enough to experience rusting.

Thanks OP and stwum for the coupon... Just picked one up and FYI that the deal is even better at the moment as there is a free propane exchange with any grill purchase running through the 6th.

I've owned several cheap grills like this, and the problem has never been rust, provided you use a cover. The main issue has always been with the flame spreaders falling apart, and very little control over consistent heating.

I picked a one of these up. Assembly was very easy. Thing throws a lot of heat and has a giant drip tray in the bottom.

I also did the free tank exchange.

without a doubt the burners will rot out causing hot spots and you won't be able to get parts so it will go to the curb. just like all cheap grills
