Thanks for the post, OP.

I have Lifeline but not too fond it. The game gives you the illusion that choosing any of the branching choices will yield a different side of the story but it doesn't, it pretty much funnels you in a singular path but in order to get there you have to do a trial and error and wait FOREVER for the game to get there instead of letting you insta-view your choice's outcome. It becomes very tedious pretty quickly. I am a very patient person and this game tried me badly.

I haven't played Lifeline 2 or the Silent Night, so I can't speak on those.

I'm in the same boat. My biggest issue with the first one is the text was not always completely readable. Instead of scrolling, the text would just cut off & you'd have to make an educated guess on what the text was talking about. Not always, but enough to frustrate. I haven't tried the two newer ones either (yet) but I hope all these issues are fixed. Based on their popularity, you'd think they would be.
