That is one way to get "new customers only" without having to come out and say it.

My subscription ends in March, so well beyond the date at which I'd have to be charged the $10.

I'd had it for 2 years. Terrible service IMO. Android app is woeful (useless) as it has hardly any features and at times, doesn't play music. Also, the amount of songs in my playlist that become greyed out is amazing to me. Seems they keep losing rights to songs. I'm moving on when my year is over in July though to Google Play Music and not looking back

Has anyone figured out if there's a way to take advantage of this if you already have a subscription?

Might want to check out Spotify if you haven't done so already. I like it better than GPM. GPM isn't horrible, I use it sometimes. I just think the interface on Spotify is a better.

I will second the comment on interface and I'll add to that. I've been on GPM for a few years on both Android and iOS. Still have random music stops and app resets in iOS, random stops on Android. While YouTube Red is a nice value add, I'm switching over to Spotify.

I love Spotify and I've tried them all. The user playlists are my favorite part.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I already jumped on a deal for a year of GPM for $60.

I've had the opposite experience with iOS. I love this service. I always catch the Black Friday or Christmas sale and generally get it for half off. I'm grandfathered unlimited on ATT so I stream all the time. Plus, it works with Sonos. Interface is kind of screwy, but it's awesome.
