This is a bad deal all over. 3 year old hardware. You'd rather get the ZTE ZMax 2, Nexus 5x, G4, G4 plus or the numerous other phones that you can easily find here on SD.

I've been using an S4 for about 2 years on Verison's 45$ a month pre-pay. Works quite well, added a 16GB mSD card, haven't had too many issues and I use it rather hard. I did buy the large extended battery and case so I can go 2 days (while living on it) when needed.

For the hardware included I don't think this is a bad deal. This phone is worth 150$ when you look at cost to performance IMO. Old doesn't always mean bad when you have flagship hardware from 3 years ago.

heh, the iPhone 5S for $149 was a considered a "good deal", but this one doesn't get any love. Really shows how much people value the iPhone.

Does verizon prepay charge additional taxes or does the $45 cost include all taxes and fees?
