This is 1st gen Moto E not to be confused with 2nd gen which has far better specs.

I think I'm going to get one. I gave my backup to my lil bro & now my LG Fuel phone is acting up. I'm sure this is an upgrade from that? Thank OP. TU'd & Rep'd.

Best Buy has the AT&T prepaid 2nd Generation Moto E for $29.99 You can use this phone on Tracfone with the Tracfone Bring Your Own Phone program. Since it's AT&T you don't even have to unlock the phone. I did this a few months ago.
AT&T Prepaid Moto E (2nd. generation) [bestbuy.com]

Edit: You don't have to unlock the phone but you must replace the AT&T sim with this Tracfone sim that costs $1 at Best Buy.

Are you sure you can use this specific 2nd gen on tracfone? I don't see any mention of the phone being unlocked or working with tracfone (even with a sim kit).

That $10 Best Buy Black Friday deal still hasn't had anything come remotely close to it. This is twice as expensive for a 1st gen, when the Best Buy one was 2nd gen.

Yes... I am now on Tracfone using this 2nd generation Moto E AT&T Go Phone prepaid version. I also got it for $29.99 at Best Buy some months ago. The 1st gen phone does not come close to this in terms of performance or specs.
Like I said, you don't have to unlock it since Tracfone is an AT&T MVNO. Just pop the Tracfone sim in and follow the Tracfone BYOP instructions.
