I bought a couple of these from NewEgg awhile ago, but after all of the 50% off offers recently I'm sorry I did.

This is a bad deal compared to the 50% off gift cards recently.

Okay deal, I guess.

Which offers are you referring to? Searched the site but didn't find anything.

There was a Groupon offer that Groupon kept renewing so I picked up a bunch through there. And this old TrialPay offer is still running, which can be used once per Visa. Any $10 purchase at the box office triggers the eGift, including GCs.

While I agree that the Groupon Deal was better than this, it was first invitation-only, and then when it did open up to all, it was only working on new accounts, correct?

I mean, you can open a million Groupon accounts, just like Jet.com, but at some point they are going to ban you for TOS violations. I know friends who are banned there now from Gift Card deals (i.e. Shell, etc.) laugh out loud

It was by invite or new account only, but Groupon revived the deal three times so I was able to get four on a single account and four more on another account. Every time they sent me an email saying the deal was live again, I was able to buy another without any trickery. As an aside, if you're only buying non-tangible goods at Groupon there's really no fear of ever being completely banned. Create a new email address, use a different credit card, and start again.
