I'd get this unless I already have a cheap prusa i3 clone.

Yes they do. Just contact Amazon support!

Edit: Sorry didn't realize you bought it from Monoprice. I assumed you bought it from Amazon.

Bought this when it was at $350. It's a decent beginner printer since it comes almost assembled. Only thing is leveling the bed is a PITA otherwise I'd recommend it to someone who wants to get their feet wet in 3D printing.

Darn! I bought it for $350 direct from monoprice about ~2 months ago!

Cura works really well with this printer, however I still transfer files via the microSD card as I couldn't get the USB direct connection to work with my mac. I've used SolidWorks and AutoCAD in the past but 123D is my favorite free design software.

I initially bought the Maker Architect (MakerBot Clone, no longer sold) last December but it died.

For those new to it, head over to thingiverse.com to get immersed in free to download printable designs. I've even used it for my woodworking side business:

I'm new to it (well 6 months into it). Could you clarify the issues with the printer bed? Hard to adjust? I don't see too many issues with it but then again I don't have enough experience to know what a good printer bed can offer.

Wow these things are coming down. Not sure if I should still hold out a bit more and see if they get lower. I want to get on the learning curve and start building. How well are these packed for shipping? Assembly pretty straight forward? In the last thread they mentioned that this was one of the more modable printers with lots of customization, what would be some good mods to start out with during initial assembly?

No, if you bought it at monoprice.com, they will not price adjust/price match, as outlined at the bottom of their support page [monoprice.com] (which doesn't mean you can't try for an exception...)

Price Matching / Price Policy
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer price matching. For your convenience, all of our most current and lowest pricing is posted on our web site daily. Prices are not negotiable.

Amazon can't help with purchases made on other sites. And also, they ended their price adjustment policy [techcrunch.com] anyway.

I have a hard time getting the entire bed level. The screws sometimes are hard to turn and get to sometimes depending on which side they are. I've never been able to print without a raft as the bed isn't entirely level. I just feel the whole leveling instructions aren't very precise, using a piece of paper to measure the distance from the bed isn't very accurate.

Curious how are your results?

In for one! My last Prusa i3 had first layer printing quality issues...hopefully this one is a little better.

Just got off of chat with CS, I can confirm that they won't pricematch and the shipping fee is non-refundable even if you refuse delivery.

There is no point in purchasing from MP if they don't have the best prices or even CS on their own products. I used to buy cables from them, but the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up.
