My 2nd, bigger Fry's today did not have any Reach, altho the tag was sstill there on the empty peg. They were out of Finish, but did have Mahatma rice and Hefty which my smaller store did not, but not much better Progresso Lite selections.. Used the 75¢Little Debbie that came in today's WSJ for a free Mega item. It says DND and it did not. I pointed that out to the cashier and she manually added 25¢. Have you been following the Kroger thread where Krogeris nationally ending doubling next month? .

Doesn't read to me that is "nationally", but more regionally that the doubling is ending. I know Ohio is part of the region. http://www.thetowntalk.com/articl...le-coupons From the article "Phil Lempert, an industry analyst and CEO of SupermarketGuru.com “Couponing has been reduced since the extreme couponing phase and becoming boring,” Lempert said. “Redemption (is) down. Shoppers want to feel they are getting good prices all the time. And with technology, Kroger can hone in on the deals that appeal to shoppers.” That statement makes no sense to me. BTW, several of the "extreme couponers" that were on the first shows live in that area. |

I agree. . . . another part of the article states, "Last year, Kroger stopped accepting double coupons at its Ralph’s grocery chain in California. For now, the company says it has no plans to end the program in other markets." So I take that to mean the Fry's SW region should be fine for now? ETA: The photo in that article is also captioned stating, "A shopper watches as her coupons are processed at the Kroger store in Maineville, Ohio. The Cincinnati-based store is eliminating the use of double coupons in all of its stores in Cincinnati and Dayton area. The grocer also is reducing prices. / The Cincinnati Enquirer / Gannett" I think we can rest easy for now, at least! Last edited by happpy feet; 02-02-2013 at 01:35 PM.. I can't find the details on this, but I got a $2 "Buy more, Save more" catalina yesterday. Brands include Gorton's, Van de Kamp's, Stouffer's, Ore Ida and Birds Eye.
I bought 8x of the Birds Eyes @ $1.49 after mega ($0.49 after coupon), so they ended up being $0.24/each. If this is anything like the promo last year, you get $2 for buying $10 worth, $3 for $15 or $5 for $20. If that's the case, a better deal would have been: Buy 7 birds eyes = $10.43 Less IPs = -$7 Less Cat = -$2 Total OOP = $1.43 or $0.20/each Or if you have a ton of coupons (14), your OOP would be $1.86 or $0.13/each. |

Anyone try Campbells On The Go soups? Not very interesting sounding concoctions. I bought the Chorizo, pulled chicken, black bean yesterday with my J4U $1.99 and a $1 coupon and got the $1 cat. But wondering if this is worthwhile rolling. I think I will empty the pouch into a pan and heat on the stove. Not too sure about handling and opening those hot pouches from the microwave.
