Since AZ has several unique stores (Basha's is only in AZ and our Albies is owned by the LLC) we'll just make this thread about all of the deals we find. Smilie

Anyone playing that Purina game? http://www.purinahalloween.com/

So far no "treats" but got 6 - 50¢ off 1 Party Mix. (or Beggin' snack) Love those treat coupons on 1. So do our cats. Can play every day until the end of the month.

Thanks puffy for LV list.

I was looking at the Kroger 2 liter sodas that are on sale for 75c this week and noticed they jacked up their everyday price from 84 to 99c.

All Bran is hardly ever on sale for less than $4 or so. It's $2.69 at Fry's. Every time I bought some it spit out a catalina for $1.50/3 or $2/3.

Hello - OT - Need a good air condition/heating serviceman who works west side. Fired ours for charging $300 for a $38 thermostat.

Oh and that did not include labor. We have/had a service contract so no labor charge. Outrageous.

Harold:

I forget how far west are you. Our AC had issue couple weeks ago and I had a big chain company over and the sales person found "problems" here and there and it added up to $1800+tax. I sent him away. I found this guy who had his own company called "cool guys air conditioning and heating" . He is the owner and the worker. His name is Lynn Smith. Lynn came over right on time and told me the "problems" the big company "found out" didn't exist. he was very honest and I paid him 2 hour labor and got everything fixed. He could make more money by telling me the same thing the other guy did but he didn't. He got all 5 star reviews on yelp. his number is 4803138893. I am not sure how far he goes but you can give him a call and find out. good luck! Big Grin

Foster Mechanic......he's fair and a little bit of a character! But we had one guy give us a line of bull and a huge charge when our A/C totally failed last year. Foster totally explained the difference between many different systems and was almost 2k cheaper. He's awesome!

Anyone knows how frys registers react to a bogo sale and one $x/2 coupon? By the way, there was tons of gum on clearance at my local frys on friday, but come saturday, they were all gone! People are crazy here in az! Also, we visited winco in mesa on friday and it was so packed you would think they were giving away the stuff for free!

Can anyone also please tell me where they found at frys the children's disposable bed mats that go with the $2 coupon for some overage?

I found them on a hanger, where the diapers were, not on the shelf, . But good luck. I took the five I saw, and haven't seen any since. So wondering if it was a promotion type thing, and not a regularly stocked item?

Whenever Frys does their BOGO Foster Farms sale I use a $2.50/2 coupon on their chicken burgers and it goes through beeplessly.

Thanks. Sounds great. But we live in west Glendale, 83rd Avenue, by the Cardinals football stadium. Will call and see if he comes this way. No problems right now, but looking at having our two furnaces checked out before it turns cold,
I suspected this company before when our neighbor (who uses the same company) and I had the exact same part replaced on the same day. Our furnaces and air handlers are in the attic so don't crawl up there to watch what he's doing. This is something you gotta trust in, and I don't trust our former service company anymore.
Sorry for the OT folks.

Thanks so much. Always nice to have a recommended service company, especially on something I don't know beans about.

I tried to use the same $2.50/2 coupon once and the cashier wouldn't let me use it because she said I am already getting one package for free and I can't use a coupon on a free item. So I did two BOGO frees (where I paid for two packages at $5.99each and got two packages free) and then used the $2.50/2 coupon on the two packages I paid for. So it was 2x $5.99=$11.98-$2.50 coupon=$9.48 for four packages of chicken burgers which is still a good deal on a healthy, flavorful red meat burger alternative. I don't know if she was right or not.
