This deal is better. That said, only a bit more time until these are $99 or less.

Do people still play movies on discs? I thought everything was streamed or torrented nowadays.

Guess there are still a few. Can't remember the last time I used a disc.

Unless you have fiber or a T3 line, you haven't streamed true 4K either. Anyways, this is way overpriced. Only difference between this and a standard Blu-ray player is the instructions the laser is given.

if they want lossless audio( DTS Master/Dolby True HD) versus the reduced lossy versions, DTS and Dolby digital, or desire the new newer surround formats..Dolby atmos or DTS-X....you have no choice other than to use a disc

Also PS4k Neo will be out in 6 months and should be able to play the UHD discs.

Well, the XBox One S comes out next month, and for $299 you get a UHD Player and a gaming system. PS4 will follow suit. The time of these standalone UHD players being high priced is at an end, and they will start becoming more ubiquitous and cheaper.

Exactly. I feel sorry for the suckers who actually purchased this when they could get an Xbox one S for the same price. Noob style.

Most people would find it very difficult to play a disc on any gaming system.
