iPhone 6s and latest app. For a long time now 2+ months, no links will open from the app. When I go to the website in safari links don't work either. Super frustrating and you guys are losing money too.

The error was :the url can't be shown

I've been running into the same issue lately. Here's a perfect example: A deal is posted, there's directions to replicate the deal, or check inventory through brickseek, and when you try to click on the link in the description, the url has been shortened in both the app, and the website. Clicking either will try to direct you to the site listed, including the "..." that is being used to shorten the link. I've attached a couple screenshots if it helps.

The root cause of this issue is almost always the installation of an ad blocker on your device. Ad blockers are not compatible with Slickdeals links, currently there is no known solution other than to uninstall the ad blocker app. Let me know if that helps, thanks!

Yes, for me it was Handblock. I have others installed, and they don't seem to effect it, but Handblock was breaking all links out of the app, even with slickdeals being whitelisted. Thank you.

No problem! We're working on ways that our app can work with an ad blocker app, but glad we were at least able to determine the root cause.
