Crap card to for the standards now. Why not spend a little bit more and get something that can play games above medium settings? Not understanding why this card is even viable with new cards that smoke this thing for a tad more. TD

I disagree -- there's no competition in this $99 price bracket until the RX 460 is released. GTX 750 Ti's are even still selling for this price.

My ITX build is happy with the GTX 950; playing Witcher 3 on high settings, 1080p very smoothly.

Pretty much. Sorry! Also is there any way for me to change the title to say $99.99?

Depends on your use case. I'm looking for the cheapest card that can run a 4k display at 60Hz for mostly non gaming. 750ti would probably do it but GTX 950 is a significant step up in performance and has excellent video codec support.

On Desktop, Click On "Edit" at the Bottom of Your Original Post. Then "Go Advanced".

You will be able to edit the title here.

Typically titles should include: "Product Title/Description, Price & Retailer"

I posted the previous FP deal for this and my title was:
"EVGA GeForce SC+ GAMING GTX 950 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card (02G-P4-2956-KR) for $99.99 AR + Free Shipping @ Newegg.com"

Thank you for contributing. Hope to see you around more! Smilie

Cool, thanks. Been leeching for years. I've tried to post once or twice in the past but honestly I'm super lazy and the process isn't very streamlined to figure out the first time.

Because the GTX 950 is still more than capable of playing every game on the market and is an exceptionally good choice for a low cost gaming PC build. This is an enormous upgrade compared to any onboard GPU which many PCs have.

Doesn't come with"free" games but 2 $50 credits to two pay-to-win games. The codes have been selling for $10 on eBay.

Also it's the 90W version for those who might care.

If Polaris 11 scales to Polaris 10, the RX 460 won't be a big improvement over this card.

This will work nicely for a younger person's budget gaming system. Probably bottlenecked slightly by the Haswell Pentium, but it should do well enough for gaming at 1680x1050.

Could use some help.

When I play videos on my computer they lag and stutter. could it be a bad video card? I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT card. 8Gb Ram. i5 core with Thermaltake Toughpower XT 775W.

I really don't game and was wondering if I should replace it with this card and see if that resolves the problem?

Anything I should try first?
TIA

Everything else works fine
