poor merchant reputation: MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A CALL IN LESS THAN EVERY 60 DAYS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DOWNGRADED TO FREE PLAN (125min/50text/25MB) WITH NO NOTICE. THIS WAS STARTED SINCE 07/11/2016.

Add ons purchased through this promo will be charged monthly to your default credit card. Don't forget to add approx. 20% for tax which varies by state to the monthly charge.

On the eve of the long 4th of July weekend, freemium Sprint MVNO RingPlus completely changed its plan lineup, replacing every single plan with something different. In general, the changes include:
An allotment of MMS is now included every plan except the data-only plan.
On "free" plans, the minimum top-up which is charged at plan activation and whenever the plan balance reaches zero has been increased.
Paid plans, with the exception of the data-only plan, no longer require a top-up in addition to the monthly plan fee, but the monthly fees are higher.
All paid plans now include some international calling minutes
There are substantially fewer paid plans. All the plans with more than 3 GB of data per month have been eliminated. Additional data can be added to any plan, but it's expensive, $15 per GB per month or more.
There are now Member+ and non-Member+ versions of every plan. Member+ costs $39.99 for 3 months, $59.99 for six months, $99.99 per year or $159.92 (paid in 8 monthly installments of $19.99) for a "Lifetime" Member+ subscription.
The tables below compare the old and new plans side by side.

As much as I love their free service, THE MASSIVE $50 per GB is just an odd "GOTCHA" by Ringplus.

No other carrier is as expensive. I have 4 lines being used by elderly and kids and this prohibits me from ever being relaxed. I have taken them all off of data and it's super annoying having to switch them back and forth every time we leave the house. You know Android is screwed up with wifi too so if I leave wifi on , when we get it it does not necessarily reconnect to wifi, or just loses connection on its own and switches to data.

What rock have you been under? R+ has had paid services and add ons going back for years. They are optional. And some people want to take advantage of these offers.

What Android phone are you using? It may be a glitch on your phones. I've been on a few Android phones for years and all of them switch seamlessly between mobile data and wifi. When there's a recognized (configured) wifi signal, it connects. When I leave the area, it connects to mobile data.

that's why I loved the free Sailing upgrade. 3x1500 and No Overages, perfect for family members that can't be bothered with monitoring usage. It really pays to follow R+ closely and take advantage of those free upgrades. I've probably upgraded some lines 3 times free, each time getting better.

wait it out for news, or keep checking dashboard New Line, they seem to be adding new ones daily.

You're an idiot. RingPlus offers a great deal. Some people like you just don't get it. You should find another place to troll.

Read my .sig.

RingPlus offers nothing for "free" nor as a "great deal." Oh, I imagine a few brave and clever souls can navigate the RP system and never great screwed, but that's a statistical anomaly, not the norm.
