between that and the gas station TLG has really been over inflating the city lego prices. price per piece that's really not worth it even at $40.

but thank you for watching for a deal

I've been wanting this. Quite possibly the lowest it's ever been.

don't just look at a set by per piece because not all pieces are created equal. it sounds like the set includes some unique pieces that maybe hard to come by otherwise.

I imagine needing like a whole room if you want to collect Lego, assembled. Wish I could do that

IMHO was one of the most seriously overpriced non-TRU set around. Bluntly it was because of the "trains" label. Many people myself included like the previous one better. I believe this is about what I payed for mine, so I saw it as a fair bargain at this price.

At least. The actual train sets that go with this don't fit well on small tables. The trains actually mark a significant step up in overall city size. Stay away from them if you can...laugh out loudlaugh out loud

However, they are FUN because they are lego, so you can crash them repeatedly with no permanent damage and create crash scenes. An HO train on the other hand? Crash=bad.

Not bad at this sale price, retail is way too high. Might get cheaper around black friday but who knows. In for one now.

Anybody who wants this after it is retired and doesn't want to pay aftermarket prices. It's a 2014 set so that could happen anytime now.
