premium and 5.99 can only in the same sentence if you are talking about a sandwich.

So here are my quick thoughts..

Honestly these are about what I'd expect for any "store-bought" $30 pair of headphones... basically what you could get from Philips or Sharp or whomever at a Walmart for that price. If the $6 price point makes them appealing to you as a result, then I say go for it! But if you are looking for premium sound, then keep looking. Bass is heavy, but mids and highs are muddled at best. Some of this can be corrected with an equalizer, but these headphones are pretty poorly balanced out of the box.

I'd give them a 6/10.

Their return policy sucks now .. you have to ship them back if anything ever happens to them(which it will) in order to get a replacement.(shipping it back will cost as much as buying new ones.) In the past they used to allow you to send them a picture of the headphones cut up and one a piece of paper with the date or an RMA number on it. I won't buy from Jlab anymore because of this.

I recommend earphones by a company called Noot. I bought them on Amazon, and admittedly had issues twice with them, but without hassle the company shipped out replacements without a need to send the other ones back. Just gave them my Amazon order and description of the problem and what I did to troubleshoot and in a few days had a replacement. These are the basic ones I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

I think it's a rip off of JMLab Audio which is a maker of very high end audio speakers. I bought a pair of their earbugs for $15 and it doesn't sound good.

That's same thing with earbuds too. bass heavy, midrange and high are muddled. Can't remember the model though.

I'm in. They are $6...I'll get what I pay for. Not looking for anything fantastic just something for kids to use in the car that can be stepped on, thrown and eventually lost.
