This looks to be one of Amazon's best prices on this particular Lifx bulb. I have quite a few of these (mostly color) and I love the Lifx bulbs! They are brighter and work better than any other smart bulb that I have tried! And I have tried almost all of the current crop of smart bulbs. Keep in mind that these work with Amazon Echo and SmartThings and probably almost every hub out there. While this is NOT the cheapest price they have ever been on the internet, this is one of the lowest I have seen in awhile...

Ya, Lifx runs promos on their website about 1-2 a month. Some kinda suck so it really has not lured me in that much. If you just want 1 or 2 bulbs, this is probably as cheap as it gets at this very moment though...

Leaning towards LIFX, but still on the fence as a lot of reviews mention connectivity issues. We already have Nest and a security system working seamlessly together, lighting is the next step.

Thanks! Been debating a box of 4 color which is $170 with FS using your code off their website, but think I'll start with 4 white and see how we like them.

For what it's worth I have had 19 lifx color 1000 bulbs for about 6 months now. They work great except 2 that failed at different times. Lifx support was fairly quick to respond and sent me replacements. I would definitely buy more if I needed them.

They work great with echo. Having guests over and controlling all your lights by voice definitely blows some people's minds lol.

I have a few hue bulbs and the brightness difference is very noticeable.

Also bonus for the color ones ... if you have an infant, the music visualizer mode (colors change based on your phone mic sensing sounds) is mesmerizing to them.

Connectivity issues did cause some problems for me, primarily on the initial setup. But eventually I got it resolved. I'm an android guy, and apparently the process is much easier for apple users.

I'm having connectivity issues with these bulbs. I have Hue system at my home already. But I wanted to try out the Lifx bulbs. It's really tough to get these bulbs connected to your wifi network. Since yesterday I'm trying & will give it a try one more time this evening. I'm going to return these back & get few more Hue bulbs. I never had a single issue with my hue lights though.

I was so frustrated trying to get my bulbs set up originally I too was close to returning them. But I stopped by the LIFX forums and tried a few different things and finally got them to connect. I'm glad I stayed the course as they are great...once they work. Are you on android or iOS?

Thanks for your reply. I'm on ios. I have my hue system connected to my Nest products at home. I made the lifx to work by connecting it to my old router. I recently upgraded my old router to the newer Linksys AC3200 router. When i connected the LIFX bulbs to the older router it seems to be working since the last 2 hrs. I will try it for few more days & decide. So far I have been super happy with Hue bulbs.

It is frustrating as all get out. Are you using your phone to attempt to hook them up? I experienced some similar issues, though was able to ultimately get them up and online. I'd love to help where I can.

Aren't these still $20 at Lowe's. That's where I got mine.

Thanks for your offer to help me out. I really appreciate it.

Yes i got these bulbs at lowes for $20 each. After 2 days of struggling with connecting the bulbs. I found out the bulbs were connecting only to my old router and not connecting to my newer router. I'm using the LIFX app to get these bulbs connected.

I recently upgraded to the newer Linksys AC3200 router. The LIFX bulbs wouldn't connect to my new router. I tried various options listed down by LIFX support but none of the steps worked with my new router.

Pls share your experiences with the LIFX bulbs and some steps to make the LIFX bulbs work on my new router.

Thanks in advance,
