Thread Details

Just saw this show up in my American Express Rewards.

$100 Airline Fee Credit

Select a qualifying airline and then receive up to $100 per calendar year in statement credits when incidental fees, such as checked bags and in-flight refreshments are charged by the airline to your eligible Premier Rewards Gold Card.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I already used my credit at end of December for last year and right away in January. Saw this show up and disappear last night. Chatted with them and they seemed to acknowledge I could hit it again so I gambled on another $100 delta e-gc

Yep I did the same thing. I had just looked at Amex offers a couple days ago and it wasn't showing. I noticed it there today - going to grab another $100 credit.

You can always google amex gold $100 airline credit and log in to choose your preferred airline every year. You dont need the offer appear under your account

If you click through, you can see if you have selected an airline for this year. I'm doubtful if you have already had one fulfilled that you'd get another.

It's not an offer. It's a standard benefit to ALL card holders. Just gotta select which airline.

I thought the credit would only apply for baggage fees etc - Not a gift card.

Are you 100% they qualify and how long does it take for the credit to appear.

New to Amex and trying to make sure I don't screw up. Smilie

Yup, next statement=credit. Finally found about this last year & hit it right away this year also. $100 eGCs for Delta work fine even though best practice is 2 $50 eGCs, not familiar with United/AA though.

Is this benefit only for business card? I checked my benefit and didn't find this. Could anyone confirm? Thanks.

AMEX is not great anymore. There are better alternatives.

24/25th is my next statement period, check back then. For some reason I didn't have autopay ON & payment was due today, just about got nailed with a late fee!

Premier Rewards Gold card at least. When logged into account you can click the Benefits button-there will be a section of "Airline Fee Credit" where you select your airline.
