Got this for my little boy. It has a parrot with a unique functionality, with something humorous for the little ones (and as adults we can laugh a little at it too). Great review gives away the secret.

Fun fact: you can feed the parrots those pellets, then have it poop them back out.

F Lego! Have u seen the documentary? The bastard burnt his factory for insurance purposes...a couple times. Plus it's over priced plastic pieces. Assholes.

Same price at target.
As observer1313 said, same price at kmart.
Added links to both to the wiki for increased viability.
Not a bad price for a creator set, but I wouldn't say a slick deal when 4 stores are all running it at that pricepoint.

Which documentary (link please, and will give reps)? Unless you are talking the official Lego documentary. BTW, a significant part of the cost is quality control. Not the only cost, or even the largest - they have marketing, lawsuits, excellent instructions, and really good profits that are all part of it, but quality control at their level is pricey. I've tried many alternate bricks, and with the majority you can tell the difference (though Mega Bloks when they started making many bloks in Canada about two years actually now 99% as good as Lego quality wise.

Also, Lego actually takes care of their employees... Earlier this year, for example, Lego recognized the contributions of its staff to its excellent sales figures by giving over 17,000 employees a bonus MONTH'S pay: http://www.wageindicator.org/main...er-31-2015

It has been this price for a few weeks. Picked it up for a birthday party at the same price.

My bad - I've read about this, but I was caught up in the usual pure market/US business school MBA mindset. In fact that contributes to all the other factors, as staff are the people who make it all happen. Repped.
