Only B&M and all of them in the Bay Area were sold out before they even opened today. Here's hoping Newegg will honor my price match request for at least the $199.

Why would you not buy a 6600K for $25-30 more?

Is this equivalent to my i5 3570k?
Edit: Nvm, this is no "k" version

I wish there were Fry's and Microcenters where I live.

And should I wait for crabby lake?

Good deal for those who live near a Fry's store, and do not want to overclock.

You can still overclock non-k 6th gen processors. The i5-6400/6500/6600 all overclock with minimal effort.

I thought this was only due to some loopholes in the BIOS of some motherboards but Intel made all the manufacturers patch that loophole with updates to all new motherboards that rolled off the assembly line?

If you can still overclock non-k skylake processors, I might just jump on this!
