It is unclear if it is 1 or 1.5 GB RAM:

Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor
Quad-core 1.1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM deliver good overall performance for opening and running applications, flipping through menus, running home screens and more.

Phone Memory (RAM)1.5 gigabytes

Should be 1.5gb for the tmobile version. I have the Verizon k3 (lower model) and even that has 1.5gb ram.

With that said, at least on my k3 (same processor), the performance wasn't great, even compared to similarly specd Galaxy Sol which was $50 not too long ago.

Moto E is never getting Marshmallow, though. K7 still might.

This phone is free from MetroPCS. If you're near a corporate store, port-in a non-tmobile number and sign up for the $30 plan. You'll get a free phone for $30, no taxes on the phone. I did this for 3 lines a few months ago and sold the phones for $80.

Not too bad for those with spare/non-critical phone numbers (aka don't mind interruption of service). Unlock code for TMo/MPCS K7 currently starts at $20 on eBay but I bet you'll (you've) find customers for locked phones.

I'm glad the newer budget phones are coming out with more RAM and storage/eMMC (not "ROM" as many people call it shake head), most probably due to the more bloated nature of Lollipop/Marshmallow and (especially) apps. 1.5GB/8GB (2-3GB free) on Marshmallow is probably equivalent to 1GB/4GB (1-2GB free) on KitKat 2 years ago, still mostly for single tab/window/tasking Smilie. Can't imagine people asking for Lollipop/Marshmallow upgrades on old/budget devices (Moto E, etc) then bitching about losing another 0.2GB RAM / 0.5GB eMMC and slowdowns with each upgrade. Lean KK is still my favorite and I've told people not to upgrade unless they have a good reason too.
