Just picked one up for free with a bunch of accessories at Microcenter yesterday using snail mail $50 off $50 purchase coupon.

Couple of things I noticed:
1) There is Allied Electronics version Made in UK and Element 14 Made in China. Given they are priced the same, went for Made in UK to help out Brexit sufferers! This is Vellemen a reseller so may be Allied/Element or even rebranded one.
2) Just noticeably faster than my overclocked Pi2 at 1130mhz (I have 3 other Pi2 around). Web interface is noticeably more responsive though.
3) Not sure there are many 64 it software out yet but many 32bit software is usable on it.
4) Runs a bit hotter than Pi2 even with fan and heatsinks.

MicroCenter keeps these at 29.99 before shipping/tax and if can be picked up in store typically.

I think you get on the snail mail list when you shop in-store, here is a link to sign up for their monthly mailer:

sure like to see a link to that because I can't find it. The best deal coming up for the Pi 3 is a kit for $42.99.

I don't need a case, since these are supposed to fit the same case as the model 2....

You can install the Raspian operating system, which has it's own web browser and that, once you connect to a network via either wifi or ethernet, would give you access to Google where you could ask questions just like this.

I installed Kodi on mine. Picked up from Microcenter last weekend for $30.

If others go to Fry's for this and signed up for their email promotions, you can get a 32 GB Evo+ microSD for $7 or $8. The Evo+ is probably the fastest budget microSD for Pi's (or phones).
