Lowes has Kobalt 40-Volt Lithium Ion (Li-ion) 19-in Deck Width Cordless Electric mower for $279+free store pickup

http://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-40...r/50352224

Please note, it comes with only one battery unlike green works. But it is 5Amp battery with extended runtime unlike greeworks 4amp and 2amp batteries.

It is similar to
Greenworks
25223 G-MAX 40V Li-Ion 19-Inch Cordless Lawn mower
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...e1603b0INT

This is better than green works as Kobalt has 5 year warranty.

Greenworks has 4 year warranty on Mower and 2 year warranty on battery!

I can tell you exactly how the 5 year warranty works. you bring the mower back to the store, they give you the choice of a full refund or the current model of the mower...for no cost...it's why I bought mine last year. the big battery easily cuts my puny 1/4 acre lawn..

the negative review are mostly from people who have used it less than a week. I would be interested to find how the replacement mowers worked under 5 year warranty.

I got the 80v for 400, must say it performs beautifully. but I think the 40v would have sufficed, however I wanted the 80v trimmer and reviews directed me over the 40 for that. it's a great price and I would recommend it.

I just bought the 20" version 2 weeks ago for $349, battery life is some what limited. And the grass doesn't dispose itn the bag quite well, lots of them are left on the lawn.

you could find 10% off Lowe's code, just google it

safeway stores had the lowes GCs $50 (for $40) a couple of weeks ago. I bought a few, so this becomes a lot more tempting...plus the 10% coupon Smilie

edit:
only thing that keeps me from buying one is the 150F heat the whole Fing summer

battery life sucks. the batteries won't charge or run if they get to hot (100° in ga) one day my mower simply stopped running after about 4 uses. with that being said. Lowe's return policy is 2nd to none. if you wanted to you could borrow this mower for 5 years and return it. full refund or exchange no questions asked can't be beat.
