Some of the reviewers posted photos of the lights at night. You can check it out. (Reviewers seem to be happy with the light output and price.)

I think this is the same item that I currently have lining one side of my driveway (was a gift). The output is very little (think more of a glow-in-the-dark sticker). They serve as an edge marker for the driveway (if you know that they are already there) when I am backing up off the road, but will provide no visual of the ground below them; even if you are laying on the ground next to the light. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

If your using this to make a path safer for walking at night, your best to also carry a flashlight.

How are these compared to the $0.97 ones from Wal-Mart?

I don't see the $0.97 Walmart LED path lights, perhaps you can provide a link?

Going by the reviews they must be bright enough, 91 out of 101 give it 4 & 5 stars.
