Isnt this a repost? Or was it recently posted for a different carrier at this price?

Either way, I tried out this phone when it first came out. It's awful. It was slow, the screen resolution is terrible, and the sound--both earpiece and exterior speaker---is horrible. Plus the body is very smooth so you will need a case

on this phone right now. it's not that bad^ but my expectations are low. was able to get it on R+ before the FED crackdown. even if you don't have service, I enjoy the radio feature(which is on a lot of new phones). we were able to use the headphones at antennas, as directed, while still streaming a station over BT to a sound brick.

I would say this is still lower end than my 2013 moto x on RW (IPS screen, cpu speed, etc) but did have better reception near the coast on R+ versus my RW moto X (both on sprint), so maybe it has more bands supported? I haven't checked.

also, the camera is really bad. it makes my mediocre moto X's camera look amazing.

Yes and yes, but it remains locked to Sprint-based providers in the US.

This is the Boost Mobile version. It cannot be unlocked for use on other non-Sprint US carriers.

I guess it is personal preference. I have lines on iPhone 6 and Moto E, and switch between them all the time. Nothing particularly slow about Moto E, and the screen rez seems fine to me. From my reading, the 'net generally likes the Moto E, except that it has no camera flash.

Perhaps the upgrade to 5.1 improved the speed. But the resolution and poor sound were enough to turn me off to it. I talk on the phone too much to have it sound like that.
